Almost ten years have passed since I joined Beyond. I’ve had the chance to meet and work alongside a number of leaders with different personalities but with a common desire to help employees grow, both the people in leadership and all the others who pass on these values just as much, through coaching, mentoring, sharing and so on.

As far as I’m concerned, the leaders I work with have trusted me to take on more responsibility in my career, such as the positions of solution architect and then chief architect, something I might not have considered a few years ago. Of course, successes are always celebrated and efforts recognized, but beyond that, I’ve always felt listened to, supported, and cared for with sincere empathy when I’ve encountered challenges on projects or more difficult moments. Always busy, but always available. It’s important to have leaders you can learn from, because leading by example is the best way to ensure that employees in turn become good leaders.
